Abstract:
Electronic records produced in the digital environment are growing so rapidly that they are difficult to handle with traditional record-keeping methods. In 2019, The National Archives of Korea experimented with a new way of ensuring the authenticity of electronic records by utilizing blockchain technology. My proposed talk seeks to introduce the case of Korea’s blockchain record-keeping project and share the meaning and impact of the blockchain technology on record-keeping area in the future.
