Blockchain has proven it can enforce digital scarcity and solve the double spending problem and as such has given rise to many cryptocurrencies.  It has demonstrated relevance in various industry settings including registries in insurance, letters of credit clearing in finance and provenance and status tracking in shipping and logistics. What we will see emerge in the next couple of years is blockchain as a platform. Blockchain will enable business ecosystems to operate with reduced friction and generate value and innovate at accelerated rates. This session will look at what needs to happen and the progress being made to ecosystem scalable blockchain platforms.
