Roundtrips from Teaching to Research in Mathematics Education
In this talk, I will focus on the interplay between my teaching and research in mathematics education by sharing several stories in which (a) instructional interactions led to research projects and (b) research results informed task design and instructional activity. In particular, I will attend on topics that connect undergraduate mathematics and mathematics taught in school as well on mathematical connections between several seemingly unrelated mathematical topics.
