MathEd Forum: March 29, 2025: Ever-Evolving Landscape: Teaching and Learning Resources in Mathematics and Statistics Education
Description
How do students engage with learning resources in math and statistics, and how is this evolving? This forum brings together educators, publishers, and researchers to explore the present and future of textbooks, digital materials, and open educational resources. From high school classrooms to post-secondary institutions, we’ll examine what materials students and teachers rely on, how digital transformation is reshaping access and pedagogy, and what the role of AI in learning could be. Featuring survey insights, expert talks, and a panel discussion, this event, we hope, will spark critical conversations about the resources shaping our education in mathematics and statistics today and in the years to come.
