Distinguished Lecture Series: Bernd Sturmfels
Description
These lectures offer a glimpse on "Commutative Algebra in the Sciences”. The three lectures are independent, and they are aimed at a general mathematical audience. Participation by students is especially welcome.
Bernd is available on the weekend of May 24-25, 2025 for any grad students/post-docs who would like to work with him. A study group can be organized for interested participants. This is aimed at exploring applications and computations in commutative algebra in a fun and interactive setting. Please complete the survey if you are interested.
