For over a decade, the Margaret Sinclair Memorial Award has honoured exceptional individuals who are devoted to excellence and innovation in mathematics education. The award, established in 2013, was the legacy of Margaret Sinclair, who passed away from cancer in 2012 after a formidable career as a math educator.

The Atlantic Association for Research in the Mathematical Science (AARMS), the Banff International Research Station (BIRS), The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM), The Fields Institute for Research in the Mathematical Sciences and the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences (PIMS) are proud to announce the joint renewal of the Increasing Diversity in Mathematical & Related Sciences (IDMS) program.

The Fields Institute is proud to announce a new partnership with the University of Regina as the Institute’s latest Affiliate University. Regina joins 11 other universities around the globe to hold this affiliation.
