Reflecting Forward: Communication, Reflection, and Growth in Teaching and Learning
In response to Andie Burazin’s exploration of communication in teaching, this talk continues the conversation by looking at how reflection supports and strengthens each of those relationships. I’ll share ways that reflection can help us make sense of our teaching experiences, adapt to challenges, and stay grounded in what matters most. But reflection isn’t just for educators. I'll also talk about how we can help students reflect on their own learning, build metacognitive habits, and take a more active role in their development. Together, we’ll consider how communication and reflection work hand-in-hand to create more intentional, responsive, and connected learning environments.
